Important: Warranty coverage begins on the date of purchase and applies only to the original purchaser.
What Is Covered
Our warranty protects the core internal components of your engine or transmission, including:
- Cylinder block and cylinder head structural integrity
- Pistons and piston rings
- Crankshaft and main bearings
- Connecting rods and rod bearings
- Camshaft and camshaft bearings
- Valves, valve springs, and valve guides
- Timing components (chains, gears, tensioners)
- Oil pump and internal lubrication system
What Is NOT Covered
The following items and circumstances are excluded from warranty coverage:
External Components:
- Intake and exhaust manifolds
- Carburetors and fuel injection systems
- Starters, alternators, and electrical components
- Water pumps and cooling system parts
- Turbochargers and superchargers
- Sensors, wiring, and electronics
- Gaskets, seals, and hoses (unless part of internal failure)
Additional Exclusions:
- Shipping and freight costs (inbound or outbound)
- Labor, installation, or removal costs
- Diagnostic fees or shop charges
- Damage caused by improper installation
- Failures due to lack of maintenance or lubrication
- Damage from overheating, detonation, or abuse
- Modifications or alterations to the unit
- Use in racing, competition, or commercial applications
- Consequential or incidental damages
Filing a Warranty Claim
If you experience a defect covered under warranty, follow these steps:

2. Provide Required Documentation
Your claim must include:
- Original purchase receipt or invoice
- Detailed written description of the issue from a certified mechanic
- Clear photos showing the defect or failure
- Video documentation (if applicable)
- Certification letter from the mechanic on shop letterhead
3. Await Authorization
Do not return any product without prior approval. We will review your claim and provide instructions for next steps.
Note: All warranty claims require professional mechanic verification. Customer self-diagnosis is not accepted.
Deposit & Payment Terms
Deposit Policy:
- Deposits reserve your item for 30 days from the date of deposit
- Full payment must be completed within the 30-day reservation period
- Deposits are non-refundable after the 30-day period expires
Pickup & Shipping Deadline:
- Items must be picked up or shipped within 25 days of final payment
- Storage fees may apply for items not collected within this timeframe
Warranty Limitations
This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for defective products. Houston Engine Land is not liable for:
- Towing or transportation costs
- Rental vehicle expenses
- Lost wages or business income
- Property damage or personal injury
- Any damages beyond the purchase price of the product
Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental damages, so these limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.
