📦 How long does it take to process my order?
Same-Day Processing: Orders placed before 12:00 PM Central Standard Time are processed and shipped the same business day.
Next-Day Processing: Orders placed after 12:00 PM CST are processed and shipped the following business day.
Out-of-Stock Items: If an item is temporarily unavailable, we'll ship it within 1 business day after restocking and notify you of any delays.
Note: Processing occurs Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
🌎 Where do you ship?
We ship to all addresses within the contiguous United States (48 states). Special arrangements are available for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands—please contact us before ordering to discuss shipping options and pricing.
🚚 How long will delivery take?
Most orders arrive within 3 to 7 business days after shipment for destinations in the lower 48 states. Actual delivery times depend on your location, carrier routing, weather conditions, and freight classification.
You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships so you can monitor its progress.

🇯🇵 Are your JDM engines really from Japan?
Yes! All of our JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) engines and transmissions are sourced directly from Japan. These units are known for their low mileage, excellent maintenance history, and superior quality. Each JDM product undergoes thorough inspection and quality verification before being added to our inventory.
🔧 How do I know if an engine or transmission will fit my vehicle?
Each product listing includes detailed specifications such as engine codes, displacement, year ranges, and compatible vehicle models. Our team will verify compatibility before you order.
🔍 Are your engines and transmissions tested before sale?
Absolutely. Every engine and transmission in our inventory is professionally inspected and tested by experienced technicians. We verify compression, check for leaks, assess internal condition, and ensure all components meet our quality standards before listing.

📋 How do I file a warranty claim?
If you experience a defect covered under warranty:

- Provide documentation including your purchase receipt, detailed description from a certified mechanic, photos, and mechanic certification
- Await authorization before returning any product

📦 What if I receive the wrong item or a damaged product?
We're here to make it right! If you receive an incorrect, defective, or damaged item:
- Contact us immediately upon delivery
- Email info@houstonengineland.com with your order number and photos of the issue
- Our team will arrange a return, replacement, or full refund at no cost to you
For defective or damaged items, we cover return shipping costs. Please don't return anything without prior authorization.
🔄 What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for items that are unused, in original packaging, and not disassembled. A 25% restocking fee applies, plus original and return freight charges. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
